Udaan mentoring is a project started by CBSE ( Central Board of Secondary Education) under the guidance of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India aim to address low enrollment of Women in STEM(science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) CBSE Udaan is designed to provide deserving girls student of class 11th and 12th with free online/offline study resource which are easy to understand to crack engineering entrance exams including the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE).
Students are given pre-loaded tablets, enrolled in virtual classes, motivational sessions, and a service helpline to clear any study or exam related doubts. Female candidates studying at Navodya Vidyalayas, Kendriya Vidyalas, government schools or any CBSE recognized school can apply for the scholarship. The applicants must have secured an average of 70% marks in class 10th and a family income should not be more than 6 lakhs per annum.
